Executive Women’s Forum Presents Hannah Jewell

Overview

Drinker Biddle’s Washington, D.C., office hosted the first Women’s Executive Forum Book Event featuring author Hannah Jewell. The event led by Drinker Biddle partner Jessica Abrahams and Washington, D.C. Regional Partner in Charge Maureen Hardwick, was designed to invite women executives from a variety of industries to celebrate women authors.

The inaugural event featured Hannah Jewell, author of “She Caused a Riot: 100 Unknown Women Who Built Cities, Sparked Revolutions, and Massively Crushed It.” Jewell is a pop culture host and editor at The Washington Post and a former senior writer at BuzzFeed UK, where she became known for her humor writing about gender, as well as her satire of British and American politics. She presented BuzzFeed’s live 2016 election night show, which was watched by nearly 7 million people. The Women’s Executive Forum Book Event, which will be held on a quarterly basis, drew over 50 women executives to Drinker Biddle’s Washington, D.C. office.
