Three Faegre Drinker Partners Selected as Minnesota Lawyer’s ‘POWER 30 Business Litigation Attorneys’

The Minnesota Lawyer named business litigation practice group leader Debbie Ellingboe and partners Michael Cockson and Randy Kahnke as 2022 “POWER 30: Business Litigation” honorees. The recognition focuses on those whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.

To select honorees, the publication interviewed respected attorneys and other leaders around the state, reviewed outcomes of myriad significant cases handled by these and other attorneys and consulted its archives to highlight people whose achievements and influence are recognized as powerful business litigators in Minnesota.

In Ellingboe’s profile, Minnesota Lawyer highlighted her work with the firm and her role as the leader of the litigation practice group. Ellingboe described the collaborative culture of the group, saying “We have a real trial lawyer culture in the firm and the group. Cockson has a strong class action practice and devotes his pro bono time to landlord tenant and housing issues, a focus he discovered in law school, noting that housing became a major concern during the pandemic and continues to require attention.
