On September 25, Dallas partner Travis Gamble attended the Dallas Bar Association (DBA) Pro Bono Awards Ceremony, which recognizes outstanding firms and individuals who have supported the DBA’s Equal Access to Justice Initiative, as well as the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP). At the ceremony, Drinker Biddle was honored with the “Bronze” award for outstanding service to the DVAP over the past several years.
On September 30, Washington, D.C., partner Tom Kelly and associate Krissa Webb attended the John Carroll Society’s Red Mass brunch to receive the society’s Pro Bono Legal Service Award. Each year, the Society awards individuals and law firms for their commitment to pro bono work through the Catholic Charities Legal Network of the Archdiocese of Washington. The firm was selected for its longstanding pro bono support of the Legal Network through conducting legal intake, in-person interviews and other work representing individuals in need.Public interest work will always be an integral part of the fabric of our firm and we are grateful for the support and recognition of our pro bono partners.
