After Olympic Quest, Swimmer Ready for Dry Land at Drinker Biddle

Philadelphia associate Brendan McHugh was profiled in an American Lawyer article, “After Olympic Quest, Swimmer Ready for Dry Land at Drinker Biddle.”

Brendan discussed how he balanced working as a summer associate at the firm with training for the Olympic trials, in which he competed in the 100 meter and 200 meter breaststroke. He also noted some of the similarities between swimming and pursuing a legal career, citing the extensive attention to detail, and considerable time, training, and effort both require.

As he makes the transition from swimmer to lawyer, Brendan looks forward to “getting back on a team and working toward a common goal.”
