FaegreBD Represents General Mills in Selling Green Giant to B&G Foods

Faegre Baker Daniels represented General Mills, Inc. as lead outside counsel in the sale of its Green Giant and Le Sueur vegetable businesses to B&G Foods, Inc. for approximately $765 million in cash.

The transaction was announced in September 2015 and closed Nov. 2. The FaegreBD deal team was led by Morgan Burns, Brandon Mason and Miranda Hirner in collaboration with General Mills associate general counsel Louis Lambert and the rest of General Mills’ in-house legal team.
