Jack Sperber Appointed to Represent Colorado in National Network of Condemnation Attorneys

Faegre Baker Daniels partner Jack Sperber has been named as the Colorado representative of the Owners Counsel of America (OCA)—a nationwide network of eminent domain lawyers dedicated to representing property owners in condemnation proceedings and property valuation litigation. Sperber succeeds former FaegreBD partner, Leslie Fields. Fields has been appointed as an Emeritus Member of OCA.

Attorneys affiliated with OCA are in private practice in nearly every state and represent property owners against federal, state and local governments, redevelopment authorities and other entities that may be armed with eminent domain power.

Sperber focuses his practice at FaegreBD on eminent domain and real estate litigation. He represents private owners and condemning entities in eminent domain proceedings around the country and has extensive experience litigating complex and high-value cases. He has been involved in virtually every major public project in Colorado in the last twenty years, including highways, airports, light rail infrastructure, electric transmission lines, pipelines and redevelopment projects.

He previously served as the leader of the firm's real estate litigation practice and now sits on FaegreBD's management board.
