Chad Drown, a partner and trial attorney in the intellectual property litigation group at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, has been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as one of Minnesota's Up & Coming Attorneys for 2012. The annual listing honors lawyers who distinguish themselves in their first 10 years of practice through professional accomplishment, leadership and service to the community and legal profession.
Drown was recognized for his role in winning five major jury trials in the last six years in federal courts across the country, in which he conducted direct and cross-examinations of fact and expert witnesses and won multiple permanent injunctions. Drown teaches a full-day CLE entitled, "How to SURVIVE Your First Jury Trial." He was also acknowledged for a pro bono trial victory and his involvement in community service, including his work with a rescue organization for retired racing greyhounds.
"To be recognized with the Up & Coming Attorney award is truly an honor," stated Drown. "I know many talented lawyers that have received this award in the past and I am humbled to be included among them."
