Jessica Cox Appointed to Board of Indiana's Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Jessica Benson Cox of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP was appointed to the board of directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Indiana State Chapter.

Cox was elected to the board during the organization's annual meeting on June 19, 2012, at Woodstock Country Club in Indianapolis. Her two-year term begins July 1, 2012.

JDRF is the leading global organization focused on type 1 diabetes research and is the largest charitable supporter of such research. JDRF's efforts have helped to significantly advance the care of people with type 1 diabetes and have expanded scientific understanding of the disease. The Indiana State Chapter sponsors many fundraising events throughout the year to support research and research-related education.

Cox, a litigation associate at Faegre Baker Daniels, defends pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers and other industry leaders involved in litigation, and counsels pharmaceutical companies to ensure compliance with state and federal restrictions on the marketing of pharmaceutical products. She also serves on the board of directors of Park Tudor's Alumni Association and on the Annual Fundraiser Steering Committee for Dress for Success Indianapolis.
