Faegre & Benson Welcomes Seven Lawyers to Partnership

Faegre & Benson LLP is pleased to announce the admission of seven new partners effective Jan. 1, 2010. Representing the firm's Des Moines, Minneapolis and Shanghai offices, these lawyers focus their practices in areas such as general and business litigation, corporate law, employee benefits and international transactions.

Admitted to the partnership in the Minneapolis office are Martin S. Chester, Page D. Fleeger, Bernard E. Nodzon Jr., W.T. (Trey) Roberts III and Jonathan L.H. Nygren. Jesse Linebaugh and Wendy Yan are new partners in the firm's Des Moines and Shanghai offices.

Biographies:

Martin S. Chester joined the firm in 2003. Chester is a graduate of Brown University (A.B, 1994) and the University of Chicago (J.D., 2001). A member of the firm's business litigation practice, he focuses on non-compete and trade secret litigation and securities and financial services litigation.

Page D. Fleeger joined the firm in 2000. Fleeger is a graduate of Hamline University (B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa,1994) and the University of Minnesota (J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, 2000). She focuses on employee benefits as a member of the Faegre & Benson employment practice.

Jesse Linebaugh joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa (B.B.A., with high distinction, with honors, 1999) and Duke University (J.D., 2002). Linebaugh focuses on complex commercial litigation, including securities litigation, financial markets litigation and regulatory investigations.

Bernard E. Nodzon Jr. joined the firm in 2003. B.J. is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas (B.A., summa cum laude, 1999) and William Mitchell College of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, editor in chief of the Law Review, 2002). A member of the Faegre & Benson business litigation practice, Nodzon focuses on construction, real estate and eminent domain litigation.

Jonathan L.H. Nygren joined the firm in 2007. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, 1999) and Yale Law School (J.D., 2002). He practices in the corporate group and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

W.T. (Trey) Roberts III joined the firm in 2005. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University (B.S., magna cum laude, 1999) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2002). He focuses on drug and device litigation and trusts and estate litigation in the firm's general litigation practice.

Wendy Yan joined the firm in 2003. Wendy is a graduate of Fudan University in Shanghai (LL.B., cum laude, 1998) and Cornell Law School (J.D., 2001). She practices in the corporate group and focuses on international corporate matters.
