Restaurant Franchisor Wins Summary Judgment to Defeat Tortious Interference Claim

A restaurant franchisor defended against a franchisee’s claim in Wisconsin federal court alleging that the franchisor tortiously interfered in the franchisee’s alleged purchase of franchise territory agreement. Our firm represented the franchisor in defending this claim.

The Court granted summary judgment to the franchisor on the tortious interference claim, dismissing it, upon finding that the franchisor’s conduct was privileged and justified.
