Conglomerate Wins Dismissal of Fraud Claims

A Russian mining and metals conglomerate won the dismissal of securities fraud claims in the Southern District of New York. Jeffrey Jacobson represented the conglomerate in the claims and defeated the plaintiff’s appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit related to an antitrust fine and tax allegations levied against the company by Russian officials.
