QQ Wang supports clients in building, protecting and maximizing the value of their intellectual property assets, with a focus on trademark law. She enjoys being part of her clients’ brand development journeys, offering strategic guidance at every stage of growth. Trademark Counseling & Prosecution

QQ’s practice focuses on both domestic and international brand management, guiding clients through the full trademark lifecycle — from clearance and registration to maintenance and enforcement. She assists in managing trademark portfolios across a variety of industries and supports companies of all sizes in developing and protecting their branding strategies.

QQ also has experience handling disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization. As part of her growing practice, QQ also contributes to trademark-related matters arising from corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. She has supported efforts to coordinate global trademark portfolios post-transaction and works closely with senior attorneys and international counsel to help streamline the ownership and management of intellectual property assets.

Prior Experience

Before joining the firm, QQ was a summer associate at Faegre Drinker for two summers. She worked with attorneys on a variety of trademark and copyright matters, along with pro bono matters involving First Amendment rights and immigration issues. During law school, QQ served as a certified student attorney for the University of Illinois College of Law’s Intellectual Property Clinic, where she prepared USPTO trademark applications and advised clients on trademark matters.

Prior to attending law school, QQ worked as an advocate and legal support specialist at a national law firm representing survivors of abuse.

Personal Interests

QQ enjoys figure skating, creating art, journaling and spending time with her two cats.
