Rudy’s main focus is on patent litigation strategy and enforcement. He represents clients in trial and appellate proceedings, helping to shape litigation strategy and managing key procedural and substantive filings while advancing overall case strategy. His practice includes drafting pivotal legal submissions, such as dispositive motions, claim construction briefs, and other tailored court filings that advance clients’ strategic objectives.
Technology-Centered Legal Advisory
Drawing on prior experience in software engineering and business analysis, Rudy provides strategic consulting on risk assessment and intellectual property portfolio management. He advises clients on the legal and business risks associated with technology and IP assets, delivering practical, business-aligned guidance that integrates legal strategy with broader commercial goals.
Prior Experience
Prior to law school, Rudy was a software engineer for Lockheed Martin, where he developed innovative solutions for government projects. He was also a business analyst at Deloitte, creating strategies to help streamline communication between clients and consultants. Rudy has programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, R, C, C#, Kotlin, Angular 2, SQL and MATLAB.
Personal Interests
Rudy spends a lot of his free time making pizza, from trying classic Neapolitan styles to mixing in unexpected flavors and ideas. He also enjoys playing board games with friends, especially games that let everyone laugh and compete without taking things too seriously.
