Kareem Tawfic counsels clients on a variety of corporate matters, including capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation and corporate governance.

Kareem served as a summer associate at Faegre Baker Daniels for two summers, where he worked with the business litigation, corporate, and finance and restructuring groups. Kareem gained experience in resolving complex business disputes, structuring business combinations and preparing public company disclosures with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Kareem also rotated through the legal departments of two Fortune 500 companies and leverages his experiences in-house to achieve business-focused results for his clients.

During law school, Kareem was a student attorney at the University of Minnesota’s Business Law Clinic, advising both start-up and corporate ventures on issues related to formation, governance and contract drafting. In addition, Kareem served as a judicial extern for Chief Judge John R. Tunheim of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
