Construction & Real Estate

Lisa assists clients in various stages of construction and real estate disputes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Her experience involves addressing project issues such as design and construction defects, water intrusion, and gas or electrical system failures. She also handles delay claims and disputes regarding the quality or delivery of materials.

On the commercial side, Lisa focuses on protecting project cash flow by managing payment disputes and navigating the specific statutory requirements for prompt payment and mechanics’ liens across different jurisdictions. She also supports matters involving real estate title issues and commercial lease disagreements.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Lisa served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Judge Florey in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. During law school, Lisa worked as a student attorney in the Public Defender’s Office in the Sixth District of Minnesota and in her law school’s Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoner’s Clinic.

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys playing tennis and golf, and watching hockey.
