Overview
Blake Lehr supports clients in product liability and mass torts. Blake facilitates litigation by researching and analyzing state and federal law on complex legal issues. A proficient writer, he also drafts legal memoranda and briefs, providing legal insight at all stages of the litigation process.
Prior Experience
Blake has in-depth experience in the field of manufacturing. Prior to joining the firm, he was a production assistant for a small-scale manufacturer that produces high-quality, urethane models of orthopedic devices in their anatomical context. He also previously served as production assistants in the orthopedic and automotive industries, learning the intricacies of the manufacturing process. Blake calls upon these experiences to inform his work in product liability.
Legal and Judicial Internships
During law school, Blake served as a legal clerk for the Michigan Department of Attorney General, where he primarily conducted research on novel legal issues of Michigan’s public retirement systems. He also drafted intra-office memoranda and closing and reply briefs for administrative hearings, prepared tracking files for the administrative record, and participated in the e-discovery process by performing document review.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Blake enjoys playing the drums and guitar, running, and restoring his 100-year-old home with his wife.
