Joshua Lattimore supports clients in litigation and dispute resolution. He has experience in both New York and New Jersey state courts, federal courts and arbitral forums. He serves a wide range of individual and corporate clients in industries such as consumer credit, products and manufacturing, telecommunications, food safety and real estate.

Prior Experience

As a law clerk at the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Joshua explored areas of state and federal law ranging from insurance regulation and workers’ compensation to the termination of parental rights, both to make recommendations whether to grant petitions for certification and to aid the justice in writing opinions. He also researched parties’ briefs and other court documents to prepare the justice for oral arguments.

Previous to law school, Joshua was a director of Manhattan’s New York Kids Club and Preschool, where he directed all programming in the TriBeCa branch, integrated a new teaching team, maintained standards of NYC Departments of Health and Education, and communicated student progress to parents and care-givers. He previously served as an assistant team manager and as a teacher.

Legal and Judicial Internships

While at Rutgers Law School, Joshua worked in the Education and Health Law Clinic, partnering with graduate students in medicine and social work to serve clients in special education and health. He assisted clients in matters under the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA), McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and state welfare programs. He also presented oral argument for a client before a judge in the Office of Administrative Law.
