Emma LaFrance provides comprehensive support to businesses that are facing mass tort and product liability risks.
Prior Experience
Before joining Faegre Drinker as an associate, Emma gained extensive experience in litigation, regulatory affairs and data privacy in other roles at the firm. She was a summer associate in 2024 and worked across practice groups — including product liability and mass torts, business litigation, and government and regulatory — performing legal research and drafting on substantive and procedural matters, analyzing potential expert witnesses, and indexing statutory and common law related to AI and data privacy.
Previously, Emma worked for the firm as a data privacy analyst and paralegal, where she researched environmental regulations in the U.S., UK and EU; prepared memoranda and presentations; facilitated stakeholder discussions; and maintained comprehensive regulatory and treaty materials, including those related to the Montreal Protocol.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Emma enjoys reading, yoga and being in nature. She collects books and loves to make recommendations based on genre or the season. Emma comes from a family of artists, so she also loves to paint and create pottery with her family and friends.
Emma was a member of the Lafayette College women’s soccer team, so she loves to support women’s sports of all levels.
