Overview
Ethan Kinney delivers solutions-oriented counsel to clients navigating complex labor and employment regulations and disputes. With a background in journalism, Ethan enjoys representing communications and media clients. He assists in editing the Iowa state law section of the Media Law Resource Center’s 50-state survey.
Prior Experience
Ethan supported his current colleagues as a Faegre Drinker summer associate before joining the firm full-time. While in law school, he completed a semester long externship with the Hon. Justice Thomas Waterman in the Iowa Supreme Court. After completing law school, he continued that experience by serving as Justice Waterman’s judicial clerk. In this position, Ethan drafted judicial opinions and memorandums concerning a wide range of complex issues.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife and attending sporting events.
