Overview

Kadeejah Kelly-Previl counsels clients in product liability, mass torts and commercial litigation cases. 

Kadeejah has successfully drafted motions before the New York Supreme Court and the Southern District of New York. She does rigorous legal research, conducts and defends depositions, and participates in mediations. Kadeejah drafts settlement and confidentiality agreements, pleadings, written discovery, litigation plans, and mediation proposals.

Prior Experience

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Kadeejah was a litigator at an Am Law 100 firm in New York, where she represented contractors, developers and corporations in high-exposure cases including those involving New York labor law. Kadejah’s practice included the counseling and defense of clients involved in premises liability, malpractice, product liability and negligence matters.

Kadeejah’s representation includes guidance on insurance regulatory issues, corporate structuring, employment agreements and pre-litigation counseling.
  • Civil Rights — Assisted in the representation of two incarcerated individuals who alleged that the Department of Corrections’ religious meal policies unlawfully burdened their religious exercise, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA).
