Overview

Claire Kaup focuses her practice on a wide variety of litigation matters related to commercial disputes, antitrust and product liability. A former prosecutor, she leverages her extensive first-chair trial experience to pinpoint core issues and chart the most effective path to resolution — whether through dispositive motions, meditation, settlement or trial.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Claire is a skilled litigator and experienced trial attorney. As a special victims prosecutor, she litigated everything from basic batteries to homicides, balancing empathy with pragmatism to most compellingly present facts to the final decision-makers, whether that be judge or jury. Claire also has deep experience in virtually all areas of discovery and case management, including document management, e-discovery, conducting legal research, taking and defending depositions, and communicating directly and extensively with clients. She is solutions-oriented, and unrelenting in her desire to obtain positive results for clients.

Personal Interests

Claire spent years living and working in Japan, and enjoys discovering new ramen and karaoke locations around Indiana. A certified yoga teacher, when Claire is not working she often is taking or teaching a yoga class wherever in the world she might be located.
