Overview
Ava Giacobbo advises clients in the areas of insurance and life insurance litigation.
During law school, Ava worked as a certified legal intern in the Civil Justice Clinic, where she represented clients in custody disputes, Social Security benefit appeals and fraudulent deed transfers. In doing so, Ava appeared before custody and support hearing officers and masters as well as an administrative law judge. Ava also worked with the Supervision to Aid Reentry (STAR) program in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where she provided legal assistance to participants to aid their transition back into society. Additionally, Ava served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mark A. Kearney in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ava was actively involved in the Villanova Law community, serving as a student works editor and staff writer for the Villanova Law Review, and as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure and Property.
