Overview
Brittany Fisher is a former assistant U.S. attorney who represents clients in government investigations and complex commercial litigation in state and federal court. She increasingly brings her insight into government enforcement matters to bear for individuals and companies operating in the health and life sciences sector, including medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and rehabilitation centers.
False Claims Act (FCA) Litigation
Brittany regularly defends pharmaceutical companies in qui tam actions brought under the federal False Claims Act (FCA) and similar state whistleblower statutes. Her experience also includes representing a medical device manufacturer under parallel investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) in connection with FCA complaints.
Complex Commercial Litigation
Brittany’s commercial litigation experience includes motions practice, large-scale discovery management, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation. Before joining the firm, Brittany represented global retail and health care companies defending against putative, nationwide multimillion-dollar class action lawsuits.
