Venture Capital Financings

Anne has significant experience with venture capital and other equity and debt investment transactions, advising both companies and investors. On the company side, she guides founders through capital-raising transactions from formation through subsequent rounds. On the investor side, she advises venture capital and strategic investors on prospective investments.

Mergers & Acquisitions

Anne represents both buyers and sellers in the acquisition, sale, and restructuring of companies, bringing a balanced perspective to private company and emerging growth business transactions on both sides of the table.

General Corporate & Industry Experience

Anne also advises closely held businesses on general corporate matters. She also has experience in the sports industry, having advised professional baseball-related clients on management agreements, stadium use agreements, sponsorship agreements, and control interest transfer applications.

Prior Experience

Before attending law school, Anne worked as an accountant in the assurance services sector for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche in Chicago, and for Crowe Horwath in South Bend. This accounting and audit background informs her practical, business-oriented approach to counseling clients on corporate and financial transactions.
