Overview
Emilie Erickson drafts pleadings and memoranda for the firm’s product liability and mass tort clients.
Prior Experience
During law school, Emilie served as a law clerk with the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network, where she volunteered with the Asylum Law Project. She has also researched human rights issues and wrote memoranda for ongoing court cases for the Human Rights Litigation & International Legal Advocacy Clinic.
Emilie gained experience interning for a solo practitioner on a major death penalty case. She drafted memoranda and contributed to the opening brief for the inmate’s appeal in the Supreme Court of California. Emilie was also a summer associate with the firm in 2020 through the Twin Cities Diversity in Practice program as a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) fellow, and later rejoined the firm for the summer 2021 program.
Emilie completed a judicial externship with Judge Elena Ostby of the Second Judicial District of Minnesota.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Emilie enjoys reading a good book, hiking and spending time outdoors with her dog, June, and exploring the Twin Cities’ culinary scene with her husband.
