Overview
Erica Drew helps innovators and manufacturers manage risk to protect their products and reputations. She advises national and international product manufacturers on strategies to minimize litigation exposure, navigate regulatory obligations, and maintain compliance across the product life cycle. This includes representing clients through all stages of product liability and mass tort litigation.
Erica has extensive experience defending medical device and product manufacturers in courts throughout the country, including in multidistrict litigation matters. Her practice spans all phases of dispute resolution — from pre-suit risk assessment and discovery management to trial preparation and resolution. She advises clients on settlement matters ranging from recalls and pre-litigation claims to inventory resolution and mass tort settlement design. Before joining Faegre Drinker, Erica was an associate at another Indianapolis-based law firm, where she counseled clients in commercial litigation, toxic tort defense, product liability litigation and contract disputes. She also coordinated large-scale electronic discovery and conducted and defended depositions in product liability and asbestos tort litigation.
A member of the firm’s product liability group nationally ranked by Chambers USA, Erica’s experience includes defending automakers and manufacturers and sellers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and plastics products.
