Edward J. DeLuca

Commercial Litigation

Ed plays a pivotal role in representing clients in lawsuits and arbitrations stemming from mergers, acquisitions, and financial transactions; commercial lease disputes; and allegations of fraud under state and federal consumer protection laws.

He focuses on piecing together the underlying story of each case, identifying key factual and legal flaws in the opposing side’s arguments, and preparing witnesses for deposition and trial examinations.

Prior Experience

As a summer associate at Faegre Drinker, Ed supported attorneys in the business litigation, appellate, and investment management groups. He previously served as a judicial intern for Hon. Cynthia M. Rufe of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Hon. L. Felipe Restrepo of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. As a research fellow with the Temple University Institute of Law, Innovation & Technology, Ed worked on comprehensive reports of state and corporate surveillance technology practices and responses to White House request for information proposals on AI regulations.
