Overview
Tamara Criss counsels clients on a range of data privacy matters, including supporting privacy assessment projects, drafting internal policies and procedures for managing privacy-related activities, and negotiating privacy and security contract terms. Tamara also has experience drafting and negotiating software, IT and commercial contracts. Additionally, she has served as a seconded attorney at a global telecommunications company to provide support to the company’s Office of Privacy on a variety of data privacy compliance projects.
Prior Experience
While in law school, Tamara served as a legal intern at the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) in Washington, D.C., where she monitored international data protection and privacy legislation and reviewed NAI members’ compliance with the NAI Code of Conduct. Tamara has also held a public health law externship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Tamara enjoys birding, playing classical viola and reading.
