Overview
Hayden Brown counsels clients as they navigate complex litigation and other legal obstacles that could impede their business goals. Hayden's experience spans numerous practice areas, including bad-faith litigation and insurance defense, trade secrets, finance and restructuring, and complex commercial litigation. He also has experience defending and prosecuting claims of fraud and negligence across multiple industries. Hayden has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts both inside and outside of Texas.
In addition to managing discovery and strategy for his cases, Hayden maintains a special focus on effective and creative briefing at the trial and appellate levels. To most effectively advance his client's interests at all stages of litigation, Hayden devotes exceptional attention to motions both routine and novel. He has drafted hundreds of motions, both dispositive and nondispositive, on complex and emerging legal issues across multiple practice areas.
Prior Experience
Hayden grew up in Texas and is a 2020 graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law. While in law school, Hayden completed internships with the Dallas County and Collin County District Attorney's Offices, supporting attorneys in preparation for family violence trials. He also completed an externship with the US Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.
Personal Interests
Outside of the office, Hayden enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and cheering for DFW's professional sports teams.
