Labor and employment partner Lynne Anderson spoke with Law360 about anticipated lawsuits from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that will target workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and religious discrimination.
The EEOC will be "aggressive" in its enforcement this year, said Anderson. "There have been a lot of things in the works, and we're going to see a very active agenda for 2026.”
Anderson added that while higher education has been a key target for the EEOC on religious bias, "all companies, not just educators, need to be aware of this kind of focus."
