Erika Collins Discusses Company Headquarter Relocation With SHRM

In “Moving? Answer These Questions for Your Employees,” international labor and employment partner Erika Collins spoke to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) about what employers need to know regarding handbook revisions after a company relocates its headquarters.

“The most obvious adjustments are likely to be around any state-mandated benefits, such as sick pay,” said Collins. “Employers should review their handbooks to ensure compliance with local laws where the new headquarters are located.”
