In a recent article, the Indianapolis Business Journal highlighted an Indianapolis-based private equity firm and the successes and growth the company experienced in its first 3-1/2 years of business. The publication turned to corporate partner Jim Birge for insight on independent-sponsor private equity firms.
“The number of deals they’ve done in a short period of time is certainly very high for an independent sponsor,” said Birge. He also noted how the firm’s partners’ long-standing relationships with the investment community and proven track record from their time at a previous firm contributes to their success.
