Defending a Product Liability MDL Remand: A Checklist for Taking Over a Remanded Case

Product liability and mass torts associate Andrew Jackson coauthored an article for the American Bar Association titled “Defending a Product Liability MDL Remand: A Checklist for Taking Over a Remanded Case.”

Jackson explains that while some cases receive the boot thoroughly vetted and prepared to go to trial, all parties of remanded cases should take note of a few key items. He lists instructions for when parties prepare and file a joint designation of the record on remand as well as when parties prepare for the initial status conference. Jackson also notes the importance of jury research and instructions and, lastly, touches on preparing the trial presentation.
