Legal-ease: The High Potential Individual Visa

London labor and employment associate Hodon Anastasi authored an article for HR Magazine titled “Legal-ease: The High Potential Individual Visa” that discusses changes to the immigration system that will allow U.K. firms to recruit more high-caliber workers from overseas and that will have the potential to deliver a significant fillip for businesses engaged in research and development (R&D).

Anastasi provides background on the New Innovation Strategy announced by U.K. business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng in July, which commits to increasing annual public investment in R&D to a record £22 billion and introduces new visa routes. The article details the new immigration routes employers should be aware of — the High Potential Individual visa route, the Scale-Up visa route and the Revitalized Innovator route.
