White House Completes Review of Importation Final Rule

Partner Libby Baney and director Matthew Rubin co-authored an article for The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy titled “White House Completes Review of Importation Final Rule,” about the White House Office of Management and Budget’s recent review of the Importation of Prescription Drugs final rule.

Under the proposed rule, states and other non-federal governmental bodies would be allowed to submit proposals outlining specific programs for the importation of prescription drugs from Canada to the Food and Drug Administration.

Baney and Rubin provide background on the rule, along with other policies the Trump Administration is pursuing pre-election in the name of reducing drug prices.
