Translational Science: How to Fix Health Sciences' Communication Woes

Since 2008, the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) has worked to bridge gaps in communication between academic research and clinical research enterprises. In a presentation delivered at the November BioCrossroads Frameworx event, Debra Lappin, Faegre Baker Daniels counsel and principal for FaegreBD Consulting, assessed the progress the CTSI has made in its short history and the many ways in which the industry can continue to streamline processes to translate lab research into breakthroughs and enhancements in bedside clinical care.

BioCrossroads published her complete presentation in an online podcast.
