The panel discussed how companies can limit their potential liability in labeling lawsuits by considering probable claims during product development.

Law360 covered the event, at which Brew also highlighted the importance of making sure that a company's suppliers are operating under sanitary conditions through contractual guarantees. Companies can hold their suppliers to a product warranty, create an expectations manual for the supplier, as well as audit suppliers independently or through a third party.
