Private Transfer Fees Prohibited

New Jersey Law Journal

Michael Woodruff wrote an article for the New Jersey Law Journal titled, “Private Transfer Fees Prohibited.”

Michael discussed the 2010 legislation that regulated private transfer fees in connection with the conveyance of real property in New Jersey (N.J.S.A. 46:3-28). Michael wrote that the act defined private transfer fee (PTF) broadly and encouraged real estate developers, owners and investors to review the act to determine its effect on their business practices and transactions.
