Van Oort and Hunter Explore Supreme Court Decision Process

Supreme Court opinions with 5-4 splits and Justices apparently voting contrary to type with unusual alliances are often the most interesting opinions issued. The close vote in Shady Grove Orthopedic Associates v. Allstate Insurance Company is a fine example of this  type of decision.
