Hydrogen Peroxide Decision Cleans Up Class Certification Standard for Antitrust Cases in Third Circuit

Philadelphia associate Rick Coe has written an article for The Antitrust Practitioner discussing the case of In re: Hydrogen Peroxide Antitrust Litigation and its impact on class certification in the Third Circuit. In “Hydrogen Peroxide Decision Cleans Up Class Certification Standard for Antitrust Cases in Third Circuit,” Rick, whose practice focuses on securities and antitrust issues, discusses his belief that the decision will make it more difficult for plaintiffs to certify classes. He observes that the decision will also lessen distinctions between certification in antitrust cases and other causes of action, and bring the Third Circuit more in line with its sister courts.
