City of Westfield Updates Zoning Ordinance

The City of Westfield will be considering various amendments to its Zoning Ordinance over the next two years. The following amendments are the first changes being considered:

0806-ZOA-06 – Zoning Ordinance Introduction and Table of Contents: A revision and new introduction and table of contents for the Westfield-Washington Township Zoning Ordinance

0806-ZOA-07 – Corporate Business Park District: A new section of code created to encourage and standardize the development of Corporate Business Parks

0806-ZOA-08 – Sign Ordinance: A revision to the language of the Westfield-Washington Zoning Ordinance to revise community sign standards

0806-ZOA-09 – Nonconforming Signs Ordinance: A revision to the language of the Westfield-Washington Zoning Ordinance to provide updated nonconforming sign standards

0806-ZOA-10 – Definitions: Revisions to the Definitions of the Westfield-Washington Zoning Ordinance to accommodate new revisions and new location within the Zoning Ordinance

 

0806-ZOA-12 – U.S. 31 Overlay Districts: Revisions to the language of Westfield-Washington Zoning Ordinance to update the U.S. 31 Overlay District

 

The proposed amendments will be considered at the Plan Commission's Workshop Meeting scheduled on Monday, July 7, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Westfield City Hall. These zoning amendments may be enacted by the City Council as early as mid-July. The proposed Zoning Ordinance Amendments are available at the links provided above.
