In a second insurance regulation hearing within a week, the Senate Banking Committee continued its review yesterday of insurance regulatory reform. Building on last week's hearing, the discussion focused on the possibility of an optional federal charter and other reform measures. The hearing consisted of two panel discussions and included testimony from the following:
