Overview
This event will feature Phyllis Marcus (director) and Katherine Armstrong (deputy director) from NAD, the National Advertising Division of BBB National Programs, along with Faegre Drinker attorneys facilitating the discussion.
The Lunch & Learn will introduce attendees to NAD, its role in the self-regulatory process, and its mission and procedures through which competitor advertising challenges are brought, adjudicated, and enforced. We will zoom in on challenges in the pharmaceutical and FDA related claim space, which have increased at NAD as of late, examining jurisdictional overlap with FDA, review standards, recent cases, and more. Separately, we will also discuss the newly launched Institute for Responsible Influence (IRI), and why its influencer certification process will matter for your company.
