Corporate partner Elizabeth Lange participated in a virtual panel for GAIL titled, “Values-Driven Governance Models: Perspectives from Practitioners & Business Leaders on Governance Models for Mission-Driven Companies.” The webinar united U.S. lawyers and business leaders to debate perspectives on governance models for values-driven businesses. 

The webinar addressed legal considerations in determining the best governance model for your business or for advising your clients on the distinctions between various values-driven governance models. The panelists shared their direct experiences forming, growing, and maintaining certified B corps and cooperatives.

The panel focused primarily on benefit corporations, certified B corps, and cooperatives, while also touching on other values-driven governance models to make sure business is truly a sustainable source of good.
