Jonathan’s session, “Fiscal and Operational Impacts of Latest ED Rulemaking: Everything Old is New Again, and More,” focused on recent proposed changes to U.S. Department of Education federal student aid program regulations surrounding institutional certification, financial responsibility triggers for letters of credit, borrower defenses to repayment and other key areas. The session also highlighted how postsecondary educational institutions will need a coordinated fiscal and operational approach to adjust to these regulatory changes.
