As part of their “Becoming a Professional in the Art World” series, Washington Sculptors Group hosted an online discussion of art and the law with Faegre Drinker’s Janet Fries. WSG posed questions to their members, including: Have you ever found yourself wondering what your rights were when someone broke, stole or used your work without your permission? Or, do you understand everything in the contract the dealer or art advisor wants you to sign?

The program included conversations about:
