Overview

Faegre Drinker’s Kacey Buderi presented at The Transportation Alliance’s 2022 Legislative Conference on April 28. Kacey's session, "Review of the 2021 Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) Report on Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and Next Steps for NEMT," focused on the approach and key findings of the MACPAC 2021 report to Congress. During her session, Kacey spoke about future considerations for NEMT benefits and the current work of the U.S. Government Accountability Office and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on program integrity within NEMT. Additionally, she shared insight on possible new guidance from CMS regarding NEMT in 2023.
