Supreme Court’s Facebook Decision Upends TCPA Litigation Landscape

Webinar

Overview

The Supreme Court’s April 1 decision in Facebook v. Duguid finally resolved a split among the lower courts over how to interpret autodialer prohibitions under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). The Court held that the statute’s autodialer restrictions apply only to equipment that has the capacity to randomly or sequentially generate numbers. In this webinar, Faegre Drinker Partner Mike Daly will join a panel composed of leaders from the Consumer Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section to analyze this decision and evaluate its impact on the future of TCPA litigation.
