Faegre Drinker’s Jessica Loesing and John Moore will be the featured speakers during an upcoming Long Term Care Discussion Group presentation in late January. “Blame the Lawyers: Important Trends in LTC Insurance Litigation and the Lessons Learned,” will look at key trends in long-term care insurance litigation including recent class actions, the rise of provider eligibility disputes and the reemergence of old claims with a new legal spin. The goal of the session will be to equip participants with an understanding of hot legal topics in the long-term care space and to examine the lessons learned from recent litigation.

The Long Term Care Discussion Group is a voluntary, independent group that meets for the purpose of educating the policy community on all facets of long-term care. Group participants are from the long-term care policy community including federal agency and congressional staff, researchers and representatives of a wide variety of stakeholder organizations.
