Many polls of aging Americans indicate a general desire is to age in place (i.e., to avoid facilities and stay in their homes as long as possible). As insurers start to formulate new ideas, products, and initiatives to meet this desire head-on, there is a trend towards offering wellness programs and initiatives to insureds in connection with their long-term care insurance policies (and hybrids). Sandra shared analysis of some of the cutting edge wellness initiatives currently being proposed or offered, and discussed of how insurers offering wellness initiatives can remain compliant with 7702B and laws/regulations against rebating.
